that Thrift Store Feeling...

I had a feeling I would find some games at the thrift store.  Turns out my feeling was correct.....times two!

Santa got my back, yo

Yeah that's right, all these great titles for a little under $9.  If you can tell, in the pictures, you can see that the games were priced at $2.99, except Zelda which was $1.99.  Now that is a ridiculous price to begin with - nobody would pass it up. But I was lucky to have a really cool person ring me up, and as you can see, he rang each game up for $0.99!  I bought a few VHS movies with the games and I figure the dude saw that and counted how many things I had and just multiplied.  Hey, I'm not complaining!  I cannot believe one of the games was a near mint copy of Shadowrun for SNES either.  I used to play this game via emulator back in like 7th grade while listening to KMFDM (yes I'm cool too!).  And just look at that copy of Zelda, it's practically new!  Here's what I got:

Super Mario Kart
Super Mario World
Super Mario All-Stars
Shadowrun
The Legend of Zelda

Awesome.

They also had a very unique item for sale which I had to pass on due to its price.  However, the price for this "kiosk" was probably really good, as I've never seen or heard of this:

Looks fun!

It's a kiosk that allows you to play GameCube and watch DVDs and it looks like it came from a children's hospital - very unique!  They had it marked down from $120 to $99....if only I was made of money!

So then, fast forward to this morning...
I get that feeling again - this time at a different store.  So I stopped in this morning real quick to check if my feeling was correct...I guess you probably know the answer!

Not a bad selection of NES games for cheap!

Mickey Mouscapades
Twin Cobra
Wizards & Warriors
Q Bert
Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adv.

I got the $0.99 deal again too!

I love thrift stores.
